My daughters named all the chicks as they hatched. Any that turn out to be roosters are going back to my Uncle, where they will likely be named "Dinner." But for now we have:

Little
Rainbow
Taylor Chick (she hatched while my oldest daughter was at a Taylor Swift concert)
Princess Fire Magic
Tiny Dancer

I keep wanting to call Tiny Dancer, Tony Danza, after the misheard song lyric (Hold me closer, Tony Danza).

When we got our first batch of chicks close to ten Years ago, we got 3 chicks. Nelly, A leghorn, cheepy, an easter egger, Pecky another EE, and Mine, I don't remember the breed but that was my brothers

I'm not being terribly original with names, my hens are going to be named after herbs and spices, kinda like this.....

Saffron
Clove
Rosemary
Thyme
Angelica
Ginger 
Hyssop
Rosemary
Rue
Sassafras 
Willow

and the Roo will be  Basil, Chili, or Cayenne  :/

The names we chose kind of just randomly were decided.

I have four golden comet hens, which are my most friendly, and they are named: Lulu Bell, Lily, Kaci, Lacy.
My 3 Barred Rocks are Wobble, because her comb is very bent, and the other two are still not decided but we are thinking Rosie Mae, and Sweetie Blue.
I have 3 RIRs named Rosetta, Ruby, and Rose.
Four Easter Eggers named Luna, Gypsy, Iris, and Chip.
Bantams hens are Sky, Grace and Hazel.
Two Roosters are Buddy and Stephen.
And today we had 3/11 chicks hatch already and only the one EE is named and her name is Easter.
But we have a bantam and a Micro baby unnamed.

We call them Mirco babies because we are unsure of the actual breed.
