Other : He was with me only until 3 weeks ago. I like his color the most out of all his clutch-mates, but he turned out to be a drake. His 4 clutch-mates are all girls: Omelette, Soufflé, Balut, Pídàn.

Something about naming a duckling Balut.

Was incubated under momma duck Tequila until 4 days prior to hatch. Her other ducklings hatched, so this one finished hatching in my incubator. Momma accepted the little duckling on day 2 of its life, but being 4 days younger than its siblings, it had a bit of a rough time keeping up. I found it floating dead in their pool on day 7 of its life.

Sorry to hear it didn’t make it.
