I voted to like it because of how little you spent on it, even if it fails. I bought all the makings to build my own Incubator at the dollar store and 2 parts from Lowes. Probably spent just under $20... Never assembled it and ended up using everything for different projects and bought a hovabator. It took me so long to figure out how to use a decent incubator that I am glad my first one wasn't DIY.
thank you I resorted to a d.i.y because I build almost ebeverything for my coop and I had things laying around for lights because I do electrical work often but thank u all so much we are so excited with our first hatch

I am so happy to see it worked. I do want to one day build my own industrial size incubator and hatcher and start up a hatchery. I would probably specialize in a specific breed like Leghorns. Keeping to one breed I feel I can put all my focus on quality of that breed. Anyways I need to stick to my day job which is plants, for now chickens are just a hobby with composting benefits.

update to the incubator hatch #2 peeped out this morning!

Can you pls show us how you made the egg turner? I want to build mine but I don't have an idea on how to make the turner. If it's possible give me the idea on how you made the incubator.
