Angelobutter hatched some button quail! It really happened too—we saw pictures! The “popped” out of the shell at about the same time too!

Jbenson has a breeding program going that will result in Blue and green laying Hens! Offered to supply some to others too!

Cynthia12 found spring! It’s back for her! Sally Sunshine still has not found spring—it is freezing in PA.

Gryeyes(Hi Linda!) posted about a family that thought their Light-Brahma Rooster were Fancy Foot Chickens…

They are gone now due to not properly fencing them in or protecting from predators.

Abmaddox had high winds and could not work on Coops! SilkieSensation and Gardeningmama have had Asthma Issues\breathing issue.

Blarneyeggs became a bit too acquainted with Vino last night! In a Slow way, kind of like an out of Body experience – somehow – the hair dye bottle did something….to….the hair….which is reddish now! Quite Lovely too. See post 2680

Chicken pickin has a hatch finishing up! Four have hatched out of 7 set. Terrible Cockerel to pullet ratio, so Chicken Dinner without many eggs for the Breading!

Sasimpson is addicted to hatching! Mentioned hand turning 1200 eggs!

MontanaDolphin is having trouble getting Duck Eggs to hatch so will be only hatching Chickens with us!

March 15th is set day for Muscovy Duck Eggs!

Austinbndr28 has Delawares and will collect hatching eggs form them when they start laying!

Ddhyland also needs to stay away from the feed store. Brooders are clean not by a Broody decided that the Brush burn pile was a great place to hatch chicks!

Pickitfarm has a place in Delaware that sounds amazing! Canadian Geese honking and etc. The Neighbor Girl takes great pictures there.

Arielle has herons at her place but no Canadian Geese. It is a different experience because Herons are terribly loud!

Tip: Penny Hen says to use nutra drench to save weak chicks. Cynthia12 is having some success saving the feed store silkie.
