I started work at a grocery part time hours and was switched from produce to the deli for a full time schedule and that leaves no time to read post by post.

4-8-2014 Issue
Candling Today: MaJoBele- pulled 7; angelobutter pulled 34 eggs of 118; luvmypets- 1 clear and maybe 5 blood rings; chickenlisa- pulled 8 with 36 still going; hockeydad6791- 4 bad eggs; tnspursfan09- 5 bad 30 going; misbhaven- tossed 2; Egghead_Jr has half clears; MontanaDolphin pulled 2 more; Glenmar only had 1 fertile, the hatch is over; chicken pickin pulled 7; DesertChickens1 has 5 good and 1 iffy
Bees were a topic today and we talked a bit about Cats and Kittens! What a great Group!
Misschickenlittle has a sister that keeps bees and uses essential oils to treat buggies like mites. Happy Chooks has bees doing well!
Hockeydad6791 has "funny" at the bottom of his resume but likes to laugh so will be into the contest! Remember to enter!
Scrambles55 found snap on bands from Premier
Chikenscratch is in—set 11 eggs due on Easter!
Pickitfarm had a dog attack! Lost 3 hens and the rooster flew off!
Angeloputter shared some pictures or odd egg nests (old squirrel nest) and Jaerhons! Post 8453
Watership had a bator get unplugged. Eggs were cold but candled and all are well!
Chickenlisa posted a kitten update-3 boys and 2 girls. Picture in post 8472.
Reyvaughn had kittens that needed help with Placenta and etc. uphill hill said to cut the naval string at 2 inches. One of the Kittens died. Momma cat is tired and took a bit of time to take care of Placenta and such.
Bantambury is looking for Silver Sebright hatching eggs.

LadyCluck77 lost a chick that hatched last night-likely a navel infection. Lots of lessons learned about hatching!

JoyfulPromise asked a broody question. Will it mess up a Hen to give her chicks if she just went broody?

Misbhaven has a duck with a bad air cell hatching! It is making so far so we are very hopeful!
Foxvalleyfarm also has an egg witch has a vein in the middle of the air cell! Asks about moving it next to the water wiggler.
