MontannaDolphn: 1. Heat for aquarium bator. 2. Bator gets hotter at end of incubation? 3. How to set a hovabator for hatching. Faraday44 1. Bators get warmer at the end. Turn it down if needed. 2. Use something to raise the light. 3. Hatchers are used for staggered hatching to allow for different temp and humidity settings

Slight misunderstanding - GerbilsOnToast has no TURKEYS left. They were only ten of the 77 set; the ones under the broody turkey were not counted in my total. Chickens are at 36/67 - still bad, but not complete wipeout, and I learned that the cool spot in my styro is not my imagination!

Junibutt and others wondered about lockdown. Mlmddh Incubators that stop turning automatically, stop at the end of day 18, beginning of day 19. People tend to do it anytime day 18 when it is convenient, which works well.

Post 9669 has advice for opening bators at lockdown. Sometimes you have to! Thanks Sally!

Lots of good discussion about shelf liners. They are washable and re-usable for lining incubators and etc.
