I did not count the number of marks! Good point on that.
Anyone else, when they see this picture, think "some non-chicken person did this because if they knew anything about chickens, there would only be 21 slash marks inside that eggshell"?

Teacherchick18 had a stuck one. The chick came out of the shell with a piece glued to the chick. Sally said to use moist paper towels and if needed, wash in warm water with Dawn soap. Do not get the beak wet!
BroosterSpringsteen has a Jaerhon laying eggs from the perch each night. Angelobutter had one doing that too but a Raccoon got her so did not have to solve the problem.

Whoops and others are being driven batty with the seemingly long wait for the eggs to hatch. It is hard to remember that a lot of things are going on inside the egg when we can’t see them happening!
Polishsilkie81 is heartbroken because the chicks do not look evenly developed. Wonders why.
Luvmypets might still have one hatch! Later announced that none hatched but hopes for the end of April hatch to be better
Kiomey did not have them all die! Sees a pip!
Quailtrail tried to share the eggs rolling in the bator excitement with DH but he went back to snoring!

MontanaDolphin is off to rescue more chicks. Posted a picture of one with a leg issue Post 10681. BroosterSpringsteen thinks it is tricky to treat slipped tendon. The chick did not make it.

Psst... I'm only on lockdown not hatching yet. In fact I think mine may be a day late.
Plenty of time to take some photos for the contest. Poultry are natural photo bombers!
