Wisher1000 has a soft spot for babies! Ducks did not make it there last time. I bet there will be more some time soon though.

Arielle has Ducks and their Grand babies! A lot of us have Ducks it seems.

Gardeningmama still loves Strawberry Shortcake(the Doll). The things we learn about each other on here.

Chickenfox wanted someone to stop them from buying eggs. This is the wrong place for that for Sure!

Daphneysmama needed help with her incubator Jesshann8 helped!

Pennyhen has detailed plans for converting a dishwasher into an incubator. It will be documented too.

There was a good discussion about Humidity starting In post 785.

Many of us, like Wisher1000, are setting a hatch before the Easter set date. Some are very large hatches too.

Abmaddox1981 is setting Duck Eggs Today!

MontanaDolphin says to use Equisect for Lice and Mites.

I hope it kills those bugs!

It has been quite a day on the Easter Hatch a long thread. A lot of new hatch addicts BYC'rs have joined the Hatch a long today. Contests are running and incubators are being tuned up. Some of us are figuring out how to fit all of the birds into our pens and some are making plans to expand and build new pens....

Abmaddox1981 has Goose eggs shipping on Monday (today) and incubator #3 is tracking for delivery on Tuesday. Pen and Brooder shuffling will be required.

Chickenfox asked about having a heat pack added;SilkieSensation said yes if it will keep eggs from freezing!

Still time to get another Bator….

Sunflowerparrot needs to stagger hatch. It is ok to do but is a bit tricky and may involve removing some rails from the turner. It was suggested that a chap incubator from a feed store may be an alternative.

Marthab1953 is setting and locking down eggs every 4 days. Quite ambitious! I am impressed!

CayuseRanch explained that not everyone sets on the set date for a breed. Hatching often starts a week a head here sometimes and goes for a week after the official hatch date.

Sally Sunshine wants to squeeze Cayuseranch’s chick until it pops! and name Him George!

Daphneysmamma was given an incubator today!

Chicken pickin reminded us to watch the date if we plan on hatching for the Cinco De Mayo Turkey(and Tutor) Hatch a long due to overlapping set dates.

Oletymer upgrade the bator by adding a fan.

Kismet is tweaking incubators and is dialing in a Genesis.
