Dark eggs

You're right...those Welsummer eggs really are pretty. Darn, darn, darn. Every time I think I know for sure what direction I want to go next, someone introduces me to something ELSE I want!

We have a few Turkens ( Naked Necks ) and they lay a deep brown egg. They are about the color of a milk chocalate candy bar.

10 buff orpingtons (highly doubt it could be any of the orpingtons since most of them lay a light egg),
and 4 brownish hens that I don't know the breed of. I got them at the feed store so I assume they're either production reds, RIR, or NHreds. Hmmmm, it's a mystery! If I find her maybe I could breed her to one of the welsummer roosters I'm raising. They are only about 6 weeks old currently though.
