Day 18 moved to hatch mode. IBW begins now. Day 21 PIPS! Now hatch!

Hey D, just checking in. Did you wake up to newly hatched babies......or did you even get any sleep?

Ok, DH got mad that I kept getting out of bed last night to check on the chicks.

So I had to wait until this morning to check.

So I moved the 3 big kids out of the bator this morning.

The Little Mandy egg that pipped in the middle got stuck with just a big foot sticking out and no way to use her peak to break any more, so I helped her out a little this morning.

Little-Syke is flopping around the bator this morning too.

Charlotte's little kids are just very shy. 3 have big holes in them, I mean big holes (well 2 of them do) but no one wants to be the first to show up at the party. The one that was pipped yesterday hasn't done anything, so I removed a little shell to see if she was ok. She's still alive, but I hit a little blood, so I put her back in.

Another little Mandy has a big hole it the egg too.

Nothing at all from Herriette or Velvet.

I think I made a mistake. Did you know that Blue orps, Blue Jersey Giants, and barred rock chicks all look a like

I haven't the foggiest who's who. It's a good thing everybody put names on their eggs or I'd not have a clue.

that's strange... Henriettas have been the stronger of the two.

You'll be able to tell the giant within a couple of weeks due to the size!

Nothings changed since this morning. Still have charlottes with big holes in them and one of mandy's.

I have 2 giants, 2 barred, 1 blue orp. And it's a blue too.

Actually, I was figuring on a late hatch because I wasn't good about putting the bubble wrap over the top of the bator at night.

Cyn, how long should I let Charlottes one egg go before helping? It's been pipped nearly 24 hours.
