Day 19, no sign of anything...

So I have 6 eggs in the incubator, and I put them in lockdown yesterday but I fear I may have turned the humidity too high - 70-80 (In my defense there are a kazillion different opinions on humidity/temp for incubating and this is my second hatch - trying to find what works for me)... They were all alive before lockdown.... I'm getting nervous. I thought I had a pip yesterday but now it looks more like a calcium buildup on the shell than a pip and I thought I heard faint chirping and rocking together yesterday but nothing today.... I guess I'm just freaking out.... I want to see signs of life! I have the humidity to about 67 right now.

I guess there's really no question here - except maybe some tips or encouragement and obviously something to do other than fidget with the incubator.

You still have 2 days ;) most of mine hatch late day 20. Your humidity is fine. I try for 60-70 but it will shoot up when they start hatching.

I like to hang around the room the incubator is in and read or watch tv. That way I don’t miss any of the action :D they will probably start when you’re asleep. :fl For a good hatch :D

They probably won't start cheeping or pipping till day 20, I checked on my eggs last night (day19) and they were radio silent but when I went out this morning 3 of them have begun hatching. Just keep an eye on them :)

Don't worry! I didn't have anything on day 18 or day 19.. it took until day 20. So i mean.. it just depends. Be patient. I candled mine quickly just to make sure there was movement on 19 and sure enough there was and there were pips and zips so .. it will happen. :D

Don't tempt me to candle them lol - with my incubator it's too risky.... cheap tabletop I have to monitor closely. If my husband didn't already complain about the cost of my backyard "hobby" (and it's really not THAT much, he's just anal), I would buy a Brinea. I'm going to stay up watching these eggs all night and then crash... and that's probably when it will all begin haha.
