Yesterday I did moisten the membrane, I had a sticky chick before. The humidity is right on at 64% the chick is breathing very hard. If I do go in to help where could I start? any good way to get it out without kiling it?If the chick pipped and hasn't made progress after so long I'd investigate and see if it needs help. Sometimes get themselves into such awkward positions in the eggs they are unable to progress any further, the inner membrane dried out too much, trapping the chick in the egg. It is up to you, however, if you want to intervene or let nature take it's course.
