Fingers crossed for an all girl hatch! My little chick is a pale lemon, but I don`t know if that is any indication of its final colour.

I just candled the dozen eggs I have in the real incubator. 12 out of 12 fertile. Not that that means anything right now, and I am certainly not counting my chickens even after they have hatched, not for a couple of weeks anyway.

beat it only if it will eat by itself don't force it I would give it electrolytes if it will drink by itself if not offer drops on the side of the beak away from the nostrils one at a time I use a toothpick dipped in the electrolyte water and the tiny drop of water that accumulated on the toothpick I put on the side of the beak and usually it will take it

I dont know how easily I can get elecrolytes here. I do have some poultry vitamins that can be given to day old chicks upwards. Should I do that?

I have used a couple of drops of polyvisol without iron in 2 tablespoons of water and used a syringe without a needle to dropper next to the beak ... They will suck it into their mouth.
Make sure that they are warm enough. I am sending good thoughts your way.
