Days old pekins

I think their already in love. Puppy love as berts not old enough yet

When i show up they run together and iam public enemy number 1 again so i guess there good

I gave bert a big helping of birb vitamins, put avc in his water and watered some down in a bottle and rinsed his face lightly with it. Cleaned their house and new straw. Hoping git good health and an egg tomorow

i will be, work 5am to 7pm everyday

Iam just using whats in the house. Hes still a puppy tho. It rained hard all day hes wet and sad and just wanted a hug

albert i guess is his name. no name on the new one but shes 1 year old

i got home past his bedtime so i put him in his house and put her in behind him. Love at first site! he noodled her neck and bit and now there cudding for the night

She’s just lovely. By the little bit of her body I can see, it looks like she is molting. Which means when her new feathers come in she will be gorgeous!!

On the vitamin A, Kale is an excellent source of vitamin A. @onaharley ’s duck vet said her Pekin was yellow because he had too much vitamin A. He was getting Kale treats everyday I believe. Which I think was slightly too much for his body. So just something to be aware of.

Yes! Vet told me to give the males Kale twice a week! Hens can have as much as they want because it’s good source of calcium and vitamin A, which they need for eggs!

Okay second day with Acv and no change but still hopefull

i dont think bert preens properly and has his head pulled in all the time I put him in the warm bath for awhile and he loosened up a bit. It takes FOREVER to blow dry a duck btw

His joints even seem a bit swollen like theirs fluid around his wing joints but mabye its normal i wouldnt know

He falls over a little more than usual but his spirits seam way up with his new girlfriend.

And hes been pooping green for a few days mabye 5. He seams to never get worse or better. Hopefully the acv and vitamins and love helps
