We have minimun wage here its 12.30$ roughly. I make okay money 23$ an hour about 65k a year but i work 70 hours a week or more

My house is 30 years old 3 bedroom new floors but nothing exciting. 1/4 acre it was 250,000$ 2 years ago

I drive a 2000 (18 year old) toyota tacoma it was 7500$ 10 months ago

I can afford these things but only by counting my pennys, fixing my own everything and splitting my own wood

And a little update. Nibbler seams realy good, She doesnt cry anymore but greats us with excited peeps So cute waking up every morning and shes just peepin up a storm while your making coffee.
And shes growing into her webbers so she stands on her own toes. Soo cute! she looks like shes being lady-like

Bert and Mary are doing good. everynight now i have to take them out of the chicken coop with the chickens and put them in their house haha

Bert seams a little more capable and a little cleaner each day. altho he still looks pretty bad!

I cook at our school. .I've worked there for about 14years and I'm on salary, but I think my pay averages out to about 11 dollars and hour. My husband is kind of like you, he builds metal buildings he welds. and is gone long hours away from home sometimes 50 or 60 hours a week. He makes a good wage, but he works himself to death.
Property and rent here is getting extremely high in my opinion.
Our kids that live in apartments are paying 500 to 600 dollars a month. Some of that does include utilities though.
But I remember the first HOUSE I rented after high school with a nice size yard was only 175 a month.
I smoke. They are cheaper in Missouri than the surrounding states. . But my brand is about 30 to 35 dollars a carton. Marlboro I think is up to about 50 or 60 a carton.
None of that sounds high to you I imagine lol.

Haha prices sound good to me ! But in conparison their similar. My last apartment was a 3 story house 4 bedroom blah blah it was 2500$ a months nothing included

My power bill in the winter is 650$ a month.

And a pack of darts (smokes) costs an average persons hour wage.

Oh and i gross 2800$ every 2 weeks and pay over 950$ in taxes on it
