I'm getting slow at posting!
The last hatch we did of my own eggs was on 4/4, and there were 17. Four sold the next morning, which I only did that fast because she lives in town a few miles away and is experienced.
The remaining 13 are sold too, being picked up Saturday by a lady and her sister who are repeat customers.
I have no others in the incubator, but due to a new project @2ndTink and I are doing, I'll announce when the time comes. I'll be setting eggs in a few days, and those will be my last ones for this year. I'll probably start back up in January. We have a new coop coming for all the beautiful varieties I have around here now.
I still have all 7 of the group of 7 mottled/paint bunch I was growing out. They are now 4 months old, and I've sold a pair, cockerel/pullet to a different previous customer who has one sole silkie pullet due to the other one being killed. She's coming tomorrow for these so she'll have a trio. She has a lot of other chickens too.
I'm keeping the more mottled ones and the paint NN pullet.
Here's the two she's buying tomorrow.
This dufus has to go, but I've yet to post him or tell anyone yet as he's hilarious. He's a NN cream cuckoo that stands in front of me wherever I go. I sort of like him but do need to get rid of him before he kills me. Also because I don't want to breed showgirls, and know I'll already get a few from the paint NN pullet.
