Good luck Frillydishes!
First Is your day 1, the day you put them in or 24hrs after you put them in???Ok! my turn for moral support (or maybe a good dose of reality)! We entered day 22 about 4 hours ago. So far we've got two pips out of 19 eggs. One pipped this morning and has done nothing since. The other has been hard at work and has developed a nice hole and is resting (I hope). Saw one other egg rocking this morning and quite a few were rocking yesterday.
Is patience the name of the game or are the eggs in trouble? This incubation thing is tough the first time around!
OK, then today is 22, your temp was probably a little low if they are hatching now---make sure the humidity is up and let them sit tight----see what is happening tomorrow.Yep. They went in on Dec 7.

Humidity at 65, 75 even 85 will work. I like the 70's but I have hatched in the 90's--I believe it was raining in the incubator--LOL. The chicks were soaking wet, 24 hrs after most had hatched. Hope you have a incubator full!!! Good Luck!I wondered about that...we had a second temperature probe as back up but it was sitting on top of the eggs rather than between them. Next hatch I will revise the thermometer set up. At lockdown, we moved the humidity to 65% but it has gotten higher than that a few times.
I am happy to say that we now have one lavender Orpington chick hatched! There's been a bit of progress on the one that pipped earlier today but still no pips from the ones we saw movement from earlier. Perhaps all of the peeping and egg crashing by this little lav will inspire the rest!
Thanks for your help. Sure hope I have good news in the morning!
