December Hatch-A-Long!

My Lil chick is lonely & bored. Sure hoping for a good hatch, he needs some friends. I have a small polish chick from Thanksgiving hatch. I might try putting them together tomorrow.

I saw that you have some Crele eggs, are they Orps or OE's? Much success!

Yes, these dark eggs are gorgeous, but what a pain to candle! I've been seeing a 50/50 split on the male/female ratio. We'll see what happens this time.

My blue eggs give me grief sometimes when candling...awesome job with such dark eggs.

My Crele's are OE. So tiny, yet SO feisty...lol. I had no idea before June there were such tiny chickens!

I have 3 teeny, tiny eggs from one of my Crele pullets, I'm shocked they're even fertilized. Father should be a Duckwing OE.
