December hatch along

Pics
Day 16, suddenly it feels so real. 2 days until lockdown. 5 days until hatch. Like... What?!

All 3 eggs have great movement, air cells, and veining. It's getting so difficult to see inside the eggs but that doesn't stop me from trying!

Got chick feed, new waterer and a big trough feeder for the brooder. We only have 3 now but I'm collecting to start the next batch on the 2nd/3rd and we should have 7-9 eggs and the little round feeders won't cut it for long.

One turkey baby is out, the other that pipped is working on it. At candling it looked like 3/6 should hatch.

Played around with getting some baby pictures, they turned out ok!

Now to move the next batch of eggs over to lockdown.

Husband and I went on the feed run yesterday and we're changing feeds around, he says "Now you'll need to do a test hatch to see if anything is different, when do you do that?"

Hahaha... Oh, 3 weeks after the change would be alright. Thinking I'll wait longer though.

I am attempting to hatch eggs with an incubator that my sister gave to me, but she is not sure where the manual is, do you know what the (AS, AL, HS, AH, CA, LS) mean?
Yes I have a book for the incubator I can give the meaning in a little while when wife wakes up. CA is calibration and the others are humidity low high temp alarm low temp alarm I will list them in a bit so you know what’s what

@Kaiserfarm
I would recommend a second external thermometer with a probe you can place in the incubator because mine the factory calibration was about three degrees to high so I had to adjust temperature calibration almost daily to keep it at optimal temperature when adjusting calibration you move positive to move temperature down and negative to move temperature up

Thanks! This is extremely helpful! So what would I do if I cant get the temperature to where I set it? It seems to go a few degrees lower.
You would go to the CA option in the settings menu and adjust down I only went a couple of clicks every couple of hours so it had time to stabilize so I had a more accurate reading
