He slept through the night, and most of the next day, awaking with groan late in the afternoon.
It took him a moment to recognize where he was, it had been months since last he was within these walls. Now... How did I get here?....
He felt like cat that had been dragged through a pond, a cat that hadn't had a good meal in forever. He slung his legs over the side of the bed and looked around, spotting a mirror and grimacing at his reflection. Food moved down a notch on his mental list, new clothes and wash taking it's place.

Haha, I dunno. BTW, it's not medieval, it's tudor, or early modern (16th-17th century).

Oh sorry, I know it's not medieval, I was meaning like a castle-type RP.

Once several years back for a school project we studied castle life, built little castles, it was really kool, I've liked them ever since.

Castles are awesome!

But the Tudors didn't live in a castle, they lived in a palace.

So technically, this is a palace-type RP.

I get the two mixed up all the time though. I have to keep reminding myself that a castle and a palace are two different things.
