Genevieve watched the two for a moment, marveling at the beautiful stallion.

I gotta go for a sec, I'll be right back though.

"A fine beauty, isn't he? Now let us just hope he is a good riding mount and companion," she said, walking towards a stable-hand who came with her tack and began to saddle up the new stallion for her.

Grace walked slowly through the woods, taking in her surroundings. She felt horrible about the Queen. All trouble she had caused... she never could learn how to behave properly. She was clumsy and fidgety, and she was often accused of running up the stairs making a thunder to wake the dead when the Queen was sleeping. She sat down on a rock and sighed. It just isn't in my blood, she admitted bitterly to herself. I'm just a charity case. She laid down on the rock and cried her heart out. For everyone.

Grace sat up and wiped her tears away. "Oh, nothing." She paused "And... everything."

"Sounds wonderful," she said politely, with a soft smile. "I cannot wait to ride the new stallion my parents had trained for me as a gift."

"Yes, indeed." Genevieve said in reply, letting a stable-hand take her own mount and saddling it up.

Grace sighed. "It's just... well, everything with the Queen... all the trouble I always was... and I can never do anything right, and I'm nothing to anyone and... I'm just a charity case!" she burst out. She knew she was just babbling and not making much sense, but she didn't care. She had kept it all bottled up inside her for to long.

Within minutes, the stallion was passed back to her fully tacked up. The stable-hand then helped her onto the side-saddle.

Danielle hugged her. "You're not a charity case! You belong here!"
