14-year-old Danielle got up and walked to castle, still singing. Her eyes were lowered, so she didn't see the others in the garden.

"That is what I figured," she said with a sigh. "And unfortunately, I believe he may have a passion for me. He has sent me sable furs, danced with me, spoken to me more often, and so forth." Augustine sighed again, tucking a loose strand of hair back up into her French hood. She lowered her voice a little. "It is not that I don't fancy him or would not be honored to be a Queen, it is just that, I have my eye on someone else. That and I feel horrible for Laef..."

"Your majesty," Genevieve said, walking up to Augustine and Jessica. Genevieve curtsied politely before kneeling down beside the Princess onto the grass. "I'm terribly sorry about your Mother." She whispered quietly, biting her lip.
