Grace stood and smoothed out her dress, now smudged. She dreaded having to walk back to the castle looking like that. She turned to Danielle, "I should go now. It's getting late, and I have a few things I need to do."

"Goodbye!" she called to Genevieve.

At the stables, Ekkehardt was busily caring for all of the knight's horses.

Genevieve walked into the stables quietly, but didn't notice Ekkehardt at first. She strode over to a sleek, chestnut mare. "Hello there," Genevieve said, patting the mare's nose. The horse placed her muzzle to Genevieve's cheek and licked it affectionately.

"I'll catch up with you later then." Danielle smiled, looking at the sky.

Grace walked back through the woods and garden to the castle.
