Delawares Humming Along/ Due Feb 25th / Hatch Complete

I just checked the bator and I have 3 pips!!!!

I hope they hatch soon!

You do? Terrific!!!! I cant wait till mine start. There are a total of 22 in there, inc the 16 Delawares.
I did check before TV time and cant see any pips. Bator is humming along at 99.5 and 70% humidity, perfect. I haven't done a hatch since last July so I'm happy about some new fuzz-butts.

Yep.

I heard peeping and 3 of my BO eggs are pipped. If all 36 eggs hatch, I'm gonna be in trouble. haha So far this Genesis is doing its job well.

Checked. No pips yet that I can see. I used the Hova because I didnt want my Dh to have to carry the Fridge-a-Bator up from the bsmt, but it has a huge, clear viewing window that I love. The little plastic Hova windows are somewhat scratched now and so much harder to see through, so I may have missed a pip.

This is almost as bad as waiting for my own to pip. My Delaware eggs are usually the first to pip. Almost always on day 20. Maybe you need to get out the flashlight and check through those murky windows again.

My DH is obsessive about checking the bator all night long so I'm sure he'll catch one as soon as it happens. Good to know the Dels aren't lazy bums like my Blue Orpingtons. I've hatched Delawares twice, but just cannot remember when they pipped.
