Ah, they're just torturing me, LOL. My youngest Buff Orp went broody today and is now sitting on 7 eggs. Why couldnt she have done this two weeks ago?? Bad Nugget!

Yes, Nugget is broody. And if I had faith in her mothering abilities (it's her first brood), I might have asked you for a few more Del eggs, Janet. I'm sure there will be more broodies this year. I have three hens who are already proven mothers and they haven't done their broody spells this year.

oh, dear, you must find something on t.v. to keep you focused (sp?)on something else!!! My eggs are on the way to me as we speak. I need prayers that this batch won't be damaged by our "dear postal shipping guys" and I get a good hatch.
