Destroyed air cells but still alive Photo post#1

I received some shipped eggs that a few with aircells were totally destroyed and sloshing about (they were very well package but we know how it goes with shipping). I put them in the bator anyway and surprise surprise they developed and are still alive on day 16. The air space however is still a mess and goes up and down on both sides of the eggs. I kept them upright since they got here. It should be an interesting hatch.

The air cell dips down like this on the opposite side also. I have 3 like this. It is day 16.

I gotta say im impressed. I hope they hatch for you! It gives me hope. I got quite a few jiggly air cells.

I just had an egg hatch today that had a crazy air cell that dipped down on both sides like that. I hope that that your egg hatches too!

i've had some like that successfully hatch

i kept them upright in an egg carton all the way through incubation to make sure the air cell stayed on top during hatch time. good luck with yours

in an egg carton. i cut out the sides a little bit so that less of the egg is surrounded by the carton, but otherwise, they hatch just fine in vertical position. as long as the air cell is up.
