AWESOME!!! you have medicated chick starter and everything else right?
Quote: I always use medicated starter, except for ducklings of course! you can get coccoci once and your never gonna go back to unmed.
Good news! I checked on the eggs when I dropped my daughter off at school. The incubator has kept a steady 97 since at least 10pm last night (that's when the high/low on the thermometer resets). Sure, that sounds low, but the temperature in the water wiggler was a steady 99.5. I'm deciding to think of this as good news instead of assuming that the incubator was well over 100 all day Saturday and Sunday, kicking down to 97 in the evening, thereby heating the eggs way high, and they are just now cooling down to where they need to be. Nope. Not thinking that at all!![]()
I'll just have to wait until Wednesday when I candle and hope there's no blood rings!!!
Hope just loves being with me on the computer and dust bathing in a box beside me.![]()
The green egg was not fertile, and I also broke another egg that was not fertile, and I think there is one more not fertile egg in there. So now I have 9 good eggs.Day 10-11 now.![]()
uggg and YAY!!
sounds like a chick had a little snackSally her little stub fell off. I went looking for it a little bit ago and I could not find her. She is blending in completely with her buddies.![]()
