I am really worried that she is going to break it open when she kicks her feet.

OMG me too! I love her so much! Here is a thread that has a picture that looks exactly like it.Sorry sweetheartI had to go do something quick. That whitish stuff on her leg is normal, it's just egg "gunk", I've seen it before with some of my chicks, nothing to worry about. You can pick it off if you go in there. I can't really tell from the pics what's going on with that little bump. Is it by her navel? Keep her separate and dab a little antiseptic cream on her navel. Then give her time and see what happens. She's such a pretty little thing, I hope she's going to be o.k.![]()
Yep... Looks like several that I've hatched. Most of the time I've noticed that it remains in the shell once they do the final kick out. I believe it is what holds the yolk prior to it being absorbed. It should connect to the navel if its what I think it is. Aneseptic ointment is like neosporin (WITHOUT PAIN RELIEVER). Not yelling here its just very important.Everyone leaves.
I really want her to live! She is so cool looking.

Chick 2. The third one is okay.Yep... Looks like several that I've hatched. Most of the time I've noticed that it remains in the shell once they do the final kick out.
