Remember the Carol Burnett/Tim Conway skits about the old couple? The way the walked, talked and acted. It was hilarious to watch then and I could never understand when older folks said it was insulting.

I laughed then and I still laugh,

except now I think, "honey, you're so right" as I shuffle: over to my rocker and ask dear wife to start me rocking.

LOL, but when I was raising five children(starting when I was age 19) I sure did!

Princess, wait until the hot flashes start

Tonight it is after 1 am and I am wide awake, every time I try to lay down, they get cranked up

Last night, I was wide awake and sweating bullets with a hot flash at 3 am. I was on here writing a long post about something,

and now I can't even remember what !? !?

I work full time, and come home to the second job, taking care of all my animals. I am always so tired, but, the animals come first. They get fed and watered and pens cleaned out, before, I feed and water myself. The house always need help

The grass in the back yard, well, maybe I should say the jungle in the back yard !

But, all my animals think I am the best thing they have ever seen....well, maybe not some of the hormonic roosters !

Getting old is not for weaklings, I can testify to that !

All my life growing up I was told How tall I was I was even taller than my older brother until he turned 17. Now I look at my own children and realize I am the short one. It really hits home when the grandkids start saying how short you are. Another that gets me is where did all the strenght in my hands go. I swore I could open a pickle jar just the other day.
Hot Flashes don't know if I get them or not. I live in FLorida its always hot.
