That is so sad. I never really felt like I was raising myself since my mom works at home, but my dad works nights, so I hardly ever get to see him.

hey i was 1 of those kids that was babied...i can tell u, i had every toy u could poke a stick at...but when mummy n daddy were out of the pic i didn know where to start! ask my partner about how good my cooking is...it isnt!!! without fail my steaks are black on the outside and still blood on the inside...i even managed to burn rice the other day!!! lucky for me he loves me! my parents split when i was 11, mum got a new man had some kids and when i finished school at 17 she decided to go up north with her new family....she left me behind to live with my b/f who id only started seeing at school as a brand spankin new adult! (18 is legal here) she taught me no life lessons and so i totalled 3 cars and was drunk and stoned when i wasnt workin....i paid all my bills but didnt have enuff $$ for food (i didnt buy the booze and drugs b.t.w...no money to) so i had to take food, toilet paper and soap from work...i didnt steal it i asked for it...lucky for me the guy i moved in with had a hard upbringing....his mum wasnt too keen on him and they kicked him out when they found out i had a place to live....so he had the life skills i didnt....long story short that was 6yrs ago...together weve got good jobs, good income, have 2 nice cars a nice house and a beautiful 3yr old with 1 due in 2 short short weeks....its been harder for me then for him....when things got bad he put his head down, i just sat there and cried cuz i didnt know what to do...i would still be on drugs if he hadnt helped me to "man up"...it has been soo tuff for us to get to this point but we did it cuz he wasnt looked after! he was the 1 that kept pulling us through...and i hope u find some1 special cuz ur life will be soo good when ur an adult! trust me...its hard now but its great lessons ur learning!! not the best way for u to learn them but take it from a spoilt brat...ull do soo much better and enjoy ur life more than any other rich person will!! i do love my mum though..when u have kids ull understand! ur doing great! are u proud of urself? remember..all u need is u...any1 else is a bonus!
