As long as it's gluten-free, I can eat other flours. We use cornmeal alot for pancakes and other baked goods. Cornmeal works well for biscuits and stuff too. We also eat a lot of cornbread instead of other breads. Are you allowed to eat almond flour and coconut flour?
we use corn tortillas for everything and we do buy gluten-free alternatives, and I swear it's about 3/4ths of our grocery bills.
Domino's has gluten-free pizza crusts, and they are "okay" - Udi's breast is okay, as are their bagels... but it's still not the same as bread sticks from olive garden, dipped in their alfredo sauce... you know?I miss pizza and doughnuts the most.... But whenever I feel tempted, I remember the days when I couldn't get out of bed it hurt so bad.... Then it's easier to resist.
Did you know that researchers are working on a med that makes it so gluten sensitive peoples can eat small amounts of wheat, barley, etc???
