Different Duck Breeds Living Together

My new little mallards are on the way.I have a big male Muscovy We've had for 9 years now. He's the boss!!! Se how it goes.He (George)seems to always follow and watch over the little ones.Thank You for all the advice.

Different breeds will definitely get along together especially if you raise them together. I am currently raising mallards and a magpie together and they are best friends. In the past i have raised buffs and cayugas separately and they still hang out 24/7 and all love eachother.
I would be careful about getting pekins if you live in a neighbor hood. They are known to be very loud and chatty.

I live in a neighborhood and all of the neighbor's kids love our pekin lol.

Similar sizes are all that matters. I have Pekins, Indian Runner and khaki campbell ducks and they get along fine with each other.
We're they raised together? I need to add some hens to my khakis and would like to add some buff and Welsh harlequin

You will be fine, All the birds in my signature get along great and most of them weren't even raised with each other, If you have plenty of space and a good ratio you will be fine.

I have 4 magpies and was thinking of running up to get a couple Rouens but I know they are WAY bigger. Any advise? My magpies are about 2 / 3 months old.
