That's what I love about Kansas. We get both - 100+ days in the summer and snow and ice in the winter. I CHOOSE to live in Kansas. I choose to live in Kansas. I CHOOSE TO LIVE IN KANSAS. Really.

I shovel to the coop but I don't do their run.

Heck I don't even bother opening the pop door. No point, the little buggers just look at me and say "You were dropped on your head as a baby, weren't you?"

These are my content chickens without snow. About time to go to bed for the night but one last outing for whatever we can find outside.

Oh Tinman,
That is crazy! I am so glad I am in Florida. I would just die. I am about to freeze here as it is! I never complain about the heat nor humidity....but I am complain any day we have below 50! LOL You guys are tough! I would just be buried for some months.
