Look on the bright side, you can still breed to the standard with those birds. Most people don't think so, but I do. It's just a matter of correcting the coloring in future gens. Or something like that that actually sounds correct since I can't convey thoughts properly.
lol yes I was giving them their daily attention and one jumped on the brooder box and loki walked by and it hopped off and raced around the living room
I was told they are poorly colored but i know nothing of marans other than they lay dark eggs and have feathered legs. Guess i need to read up on them to produce better birds if i desire. I really only wanted them to make olive eggers.
