It just came out, bama... lol...

Beer, be careful... make sure the pullet is still a bit smaller than the Silkies body mass when you put her in with them... my other Paint Silkie roo I lost cuz he was chasing a full grown Jersey tail and she killed him... pecked him directly on his throat and broke his trachea... he went out with a bang at least...

Ewww... I have no idea what sexes my little gang is... never sexed ducks before, scared to try and end up hurting them... :/
it's took me some time to learn but I'm fairly accurate. Watched the metzer farm video a lot! I've sorted out 3 groups for sale and was sexing them cause people were wanting to make sure they didn't get all drakes. Glad I checked them cause one group was 3 drakes and 1 hen. Swapped out some so they're 2 and 2 on 2 groups and the other is a quad.

I believe it is less messy sexing them at 2 weeks then as day olds! I get pooped on a lot less.

I was checking a few I kept for myself and was hoping I was holding a well marked chocolate drake. They're all chocolate and lavender hens :( I knew the lavender would be hens as I don't have any color combos that would make a lavender drake. Wish I could get a lavender drake.

Oh wait. I do have a way to make lavender drakes! I am so going to do some swapping on hens tomorrow. I've got a lilac hen. Could put her with my black drake that carries chocolate.

If you had Argentine Lake Ducks.......nevermind

Don't think I want to know... lol...

*sigh*
Jealous of all your gorgeous colors... easier to do 2 week olds, eh? Mine are older than 2 weeks, lol... am clueless what they are, besides noisy little buggers... :D
