@minihorse927 it was freaky to see, but hilarious! :lau

Jim is NOT amused... :p

Oh, crud! :/

I thought the duck was gonna freak when the lizard wiggled and drop it... nope, swallowed it down fast... then chewed it when it came back up...
mmm, tastes better then second time around!

Edited cause it quoted something I didn't click to quote?

should I give it till morning or help already?
if it just pipped there will be a lot of veins still. If you can take and make sure the membrane is cleared away enough to breathe, then that's all I'd do. It won't take much to make a teeny hole if it didn't make a good enough hole on its own.

x2 just make sure it can breath... yeah, and watch those veins... sorry, from brain to type it got unclear... :/

(Listen to minihorse927, she knows way more than me, lol)

@BriardChickens, generally when mine pip at the wrong end and they're unable to finish hatching, they still try. You can tell when they're ready to get some assistance when they just keep making a bigger and bigger hole. I've had wrong end pips make a hole big enough to get their whole head out and not be able to get any further.

I had a chicken swallow a lizard and it crawled back out. I wasn't amused as the chicken started freaking out cause it kept trying to swallow it and it kept crawling back up.

I was amazed she didn't freak out, considering how chicken the ducks are about new things, lol... she just stood there and chomped her beak up and down swinging her head back and forth... when it finally stayed down I swear she smiled at me and looked for another!!
