I did not go to church today.
We went to visit out son in the hospital.
I have prayed.
I know it is just too much of a good thing.
1st Drought then flooding.
Nothing came in moderation.
Now we hear how California is in for another rude awakening.
I remember living in California and it never rained after Easter in April till sometime in September after Labor Day. But when the winter rains came,.. The mountains came,...Literally! Those dry grasses all golden, leaving the hillsides a powder keg!
In Arizona I saw during during monsoons dry washes that became rolling rapids and we never even got a drop of rain. Oh it rained hours away. I was never more thankful for building up on the crest.
Up here in the mountains we had too much snow and cold this past winter but this Spring, we have had torrential down pours or nothing. Our creeks are trickles currently. Scarey because I fear some stupid tourist striking a match at the camp sites just down the roads. Maybe it will rain today a much needed rain.
So sorry for others getting too much rain.
