Dixie Chicks

Yeah, only 2 started developing and 1 of those quit fairly quickly... I left the clears in longer hoping they were just late to the party, but no go... I think the air cells just were too damaged... even though they were saddled and not fully detached, they never lost the watery look when tilted... :/

Not your fault, had to be shipping, just weird how the Ohiki eggs faired better this time...
:hit

It's strange how the call duck eggs don't ever ship very well, but my Ancona duck eggs shipped great. @jan12 had 23 of 24 fertile anconas hatch. I sent 25!

Shipping is a real crap shoot... Ohiki are doing amazingly well! Really surprised that 10/11 are going strong! :)

@minihorse927 little grey is doing great! He is the zippy-est little guy I have ever seen, lol... :D

I was really pleased with my Muscovy eggs.... One died after pip...totally not sure what was wrong with him... It is like he tried to spin o unzip and got in a funny position and maybe couldn't breath or something...

But the other ones with live babies... I had 5, and I now have 5 ducklings! They are different ages since they were the eggs added to the nest by flock mates after incubation had started. Of the five there is only one with markings that I really love.... So I will maybe keep that one and eat the rest?. But we will wait and see.
