things are alright processed somemore roosters,..had mystery predator or something and had to put down a hen....otherwise all the chickies are doing good gardens doing it's thing...kinda trying tog et ready for road trip in a bit..........

We wont buy any live birds. Only hatching eggs. I understand there are also risks involving hatching eggs...but I feel a little better.
I cant believe all the people thinking "NPIP" is a force field

Npip is far from it! yeah I'm NPIP certified but that just means that once a year they come out and check my birds for Pollurum/typhoid and avian influenza, they can randomly check my birds for avian influenza if they so desire. There is so many other diseases.

I agree about NPIP... good concept, poor execution... I've seen good and bad NPIP, and good and bad that weren't... I go by who truly shows that they care about their own birds and have a conscience about others...
