Ohio said no more swaps, shows, or sales of poultry in large groups the rest of the year. Only private sales.
I saw where West Va closed swaps and nothing across the border either. I would not ever take a chicken or even a bee across the Virginia border. Not ever! Never sell a rabbit either.

While having coffee with the ladies today (a weekly thing) the conversation turned to eggs, specifically my eggs! A couple of the ladies have become egg snobs and definite repeat customers, citing that they love all the colors they come in. Then one gal (not a customer) said she would not eat green eggs.... So we all started citing "Green Eggs & Ham" lines at her. Hilarious!

My cousin gave me two hens once that laid blue ? eggs , couldn't give them away ? now people are looking for them !

Mini, I don't know how far you are from here....but I just had a complaint about my Black Orp's crowing and had a visit from the animal control officer in this "city" today. I have a couple of feelers out to rehome him (but if I get no responses closer to home....) would you be interested in having a Imported Eng Orp Roo from good blood lines??? I am in a tight spot and will have to give him up soon. (He's never been shown, was hatched last May 8th, 2014. Is proven fertile.)
