Dumpling is so big!

Want a good laugh? Ever seen a chocolate orpington about 4 weeks old?

That's the baldest one I've ever had. They all seem to have varying degrees of baldness but this one is practically naked!

The black pullet in my avatar looked almost as bad when she was 4 to 5 weeks old. Lol. Now she is a big fluffball.

Oh, she is officially laying! Starting dropping eggs this past weekend

 I have written down that it is supposed to hatch tomorrow! The latest it could possibly be hatching is Sunday... But I too think that it dies NOT look close to hatch....

It is wiggly and very healthy looking.... But not close to hatch..... How can I be THAT insane?

I plugged the set of eggs into my hatchabatch app.... Plugged it in with 22 days not 21..... Just like I have for the 10 plus previous batches.... The eggs have been in Briney, and she is steady as a rock with temps.... I have NOT left the lid off for 12 hours at a time as in some past hatches  there have been no power outages.....

The only even slight oddness is I had three ducklings hatch in the incubator almost a week and a half ago... I had the humidity up for two days for the ducks....

I can't imagine how the ducklings could have made the eggs less mature....

I have had eggs just do this. They don't seem developed far enough along to hatch. Sometimes they hatch, sometimes they dont. My Swedish flowers are the ones I've had do this. A couple orpington eggs, not many.
