Deb, I still can't understand when someone calls a vet to put down their horse that has broken it's leg. In a remote place, the wait can be hours, why on earth don't they have a gun for just that reason?

It illegal to "put down" your own horses here...

Sam, I can't think that any place would consider putting down an animal to lessen it's suffering illegal (if it's clear that it has to be put down anyway). If it is, there's something wrong with that law.

Everyone here is awesome! We each see things a little differently, is good to get different views from all sides. I also love how everyone takes advice open-minded and makes their own decisions, without condemnation to anyone who does things differently. Seen some threads get ugly when some people are narrow-minded.
So, just wanted to say...

I dont think narrow minded is necessarily a bad thing for some ppl but least giving others respect to have hold and live n believe in there lifestyle choices is a basic human respect that should be universal
