Dixie Chicks

A green egg from an EE will most likely have one (not two) copies of the Blue Egg Gene. So, any chicks from that EE have a 50% chance of getting that Blue Egg Gene.

The Blue Egg Gene is dominant, any chick that gets it will express it (but of course, no way to know if a rooster got it, except by breeding it)

ive seen pure ameraucana lay green eggs. Egg color is subjective to the viewer.
