@perchie.girl Here's one you might be interested in deb. A farm in NY, Cabbage Hill has been perfecting their own breed of fibromelanistic chicken, black meat for over 14yrs. It has a few other rare Indonesian breeds in it but I think mainly Cemani and Sumatra. Looks pretty cool.

They call it Cabbage Hill Charcoal Chicken.

He has the physical conformation of a Sumatra... But feather feet....

Sumatra are pretty closet to being melanistic... And Sumatras every once and a while throw back to the coloring above. I cant see his legs well enough to see past the feathers... I wonder if he had multiple spurs. And Yes I know Melanism can occure in all Chickens

Main reason I like a mud room is the two separate doors before you go into the house, no cold wind blowing in. I'm not taking a pic of mine, it doubles as my junk and I don't feel like taking the garbage out room. We also have an extra fridge and our big chest freezer out there.

We dont have those here. We have screen doors to "supposedly" keep flies out. Porches and decks are common. I like the idea of it though

They are handy. I need to screen in my decks to hopefully keep out bugs... The front entrance has a tiny little deck if we screen it in and give it a roof it'll be like an Alabama style mud room... porch...

Hmm, what would a door open to if not something like that? I don't think I've ever been in a house without some sort of foyer...

I dont have one... Open the front door rain or snow or dust comes right in.
