Hey, Jem...![]()
they are sweet at ever. Not a mean bone in their body. There is a pullet out in the one pen and every night I go to feed it's like having a little dog jumping up and down for a treat. She waits there and bounces up 5 feet to my eye level until I come in with feed. I have another who enjoys perching on my shoulders. I did not handle them as chicks and that speaks world for their personality.Awesome! Love the look of Ohikis, how's their temperament?

just the ohiki. The others I don't handle much as chicks turn out to be flighty and freak out at sudden movement. Takes them a while to get used to coop life. The ohiki like to be picked up and treated like pets.Amazing! They sound wonderful!
So not handling them as chicks makes them friendlier when they get older? In your experience, is that just the Ohiki, or other breeds as well? Sorry, am very curious now, lol...
