My first 2 black ohiki from my toni marie hen. Almost fully feathered and super tiny. Look to be medium legged.

Hard decision, Wellsumer roo attacked my 2 almost 3 yr old boy today with a vengeance, luckily I was there. He got his but kicked. My 11yr old got attacked a month ago, I didn't see it and she wouldn't go up and feed them so I could see how he acted. He's a beautiful roo and she is pretty also. But I haven't got a egg from her in over three months. Both of them and one of my EE hens that I saved from bound crop and I'm pretty sure isn't laying either are destined for the soup pot. I really like that roo but I can't have them attacking my kids, and I don't plan on breeding wellsummers anymore so he'll have to go, and her and all non hackers! Just don't look forward to it.

that does suck beer, but I agree with not having aggressive roosters.

Ugh, sorry for that... yeah, I only kept one aggressive roo for a while but that was cuz he was needed, then he went quick... am sticking to no aggressive roos...

if you see them doing the happy feet dance don't freak out, it's cause they have super short legs if they do that.

OMG!! I wanna see the happy feet dance!! :D

lol, it will freak you out at first. They are rocked back on their entire stubby little leg to their hock and they patter their feet really fast to get anywhere but don't hardly move. Takes a couple days to work it all out.

Ah!! I know that dance! My tiny little Lemon Blue OEGB that hatched from an egg that wasn't even as big as a large marble did that for the first couple days... she was super, super tiny and had the teeniest little legs... she did figure out that she could spin herself around though, lol...
