jan 1rstsad it isnt a colored egg though ah well
It is not worth the risk to the kids.... Especially the tiny kids... They will take out an eye, cause bad facial scaring.Hard decision, Wellsumer roo attacked my 2 almost 3 yr old boy today with a vengeance, luckily I was there. He got his but kicked. My 11yr old got attacked a month ago, I didn't see it and she wouldn't go up and feed them so I could see how he acted. He's a beautiful roo and she is pretty also. But I haven't got a egg from her in over three months. Both of them and one of my EE hens that I saved from bound crop and I'm pretty sure isn't laying either are destined for the soup pot. I really like that roo but I can't have them attacking my kids, and I don't plan on breeding wellsummers anymore so he'll have to go, and her and all non hackers! Just don't look forward to it.
ahhhh&, I just woke up just to check!@minihorse927

great! Glad she's caring for them!It is soooo cute! Has a small white/yellow strip down it's throat to belly... will get better pics after hatch, but momma broody is doing super excellent! (Was a bit worried cuz her flockmate killed chicks as they hatched) She preened it just a bit very, very gently...![]()
