Dixie Chicks

Just set them last night I need to check shortly, see if it worked or if I wasted two beer... No ducks allowed in the garden or greenhouse, **** polyculture books lied, ducks desamate the plants, especially the seedling. They eat the big plant and well they dable or hunt for worms they destroy the seedlings... Little buggers... Not as bad as chickens though.
Happy Canada day to you
I'm going to celebrate at a lake...toes in the water, *** in the sand, not a worry in the world, cold beer in my hand... Wait that's an American band and it's about Mexico lol

Too smoky here to sit outside. The smoke is blocking the sun out. New fire at the air weapons range and lots of smoke coming in from the Saskatchewan fires.

Hope you enjoy your day at the lake, I gotta work, but it's last day of my shift

Ahhh... forgot you have big ducks, lol... I don't have those issues with my calls, they're not as destructive at all...

Enjoy your day, and that song fits no matter what, lol... :)

Slugs nailed most of my beans and some of my summer squash. I planted a fifty foot row of Chicago pickling cucumbers. If you can get them to survive until they get their first set of leaves they're safe. I have tons of wood ashes, put a perimeter of ashes around the whole row. It worked! No slugs or snails got any of them. I now have over a hundred plants! They should have enough room, the next row is peas, and they will be done and ripped up within the next week.

must be the season.
The drives back and forth on th Parkway to the VAMC hospital to visit our son have been interesting to say the least, bucks, deer, and fawn everywhere. Not many tourist at all. So very many Woodchucks this year. Skunks too. As my Grandmothers would say it is going to be a long hard winter. Abundance of flowers. When ever the holly berry like this year and the blue berries are heavy, the Black Berry vines are all dragging on the ground bc they
Are heavy, flowering trees, shrubs and plants have more flowers this year than any recent year to name. It means a long hard winter. Girdle your loins boys! Get out there and chop that wood!

Or have an electric fence gate hook... they have a handle that is insulcated once you un hook it the fence goes off up to the handle... Breaking the circuit. that way you dont have to mess with the eletricity... Gate hook they have a spring inside to keep the gate tightened... This is a simple set up... turns the whole fence off. But you can set them up so it only lets you through the gate and the fence stays on... I just dont know how. deb
Thank you I will look into that.
