That doesn't mean people get birds across the spectrum of size and some are selecting the larger birds to create large fowl silkies here.

Well, I was shopping around for incubators today. Brinsea to be exact, found a wonderful discount site too. Then we I did the conversion to the Canadian dollar it was more expensive then if I ordered it from the Canadian supplier

What do you think @RavynFallen? 12 weeks old yesterday. I'm guessing 2 pullets and a cockerel but the one throws me off. I keep going back and forth. First pic and last 2 are the same bird. 2nd and 3rd pic are my undecided. The one peeking his head from behind the pullet I'm pretty sure is a roo.

Is the one peeking from behind the same one in 3rd pic?

That's my goal, but I'm going to add jersey giant blood and back breed and cull until I get what I want, giant silkies. Then I'm going to make million$ off selling their meat to the Asian market. Lol. At least I'll have good size fibro meat birds for our freezer. Not mentioning any of that on a silkie thread, they think they're children or something Lol.

And that's one perty silkie, is it a splash?

paint.
The peeker is definitely roo, the 3rd pic *I think* is only one I think could be later developing roo, but the rest look like pullets... so far... could change, but that's what I think from pics...
I do better listening to their 'voices' and watching actions... :/
The pullet acts the most roosih of them all. Personality on these 3 is all screwy. The definite roo is timid one time and aggressive the next, the pullet is semi aggressive and the other hides in the back of the brooder and never wants touched.
