Cockerel would be economical lol
Lots of boy stuff
But either way I'm excited. OMG best part, midwife says I can probably try for a natural birth! It's a big deal to me so I'm glad she's supportive

My mom had two natural, then a emergency c section, then another natural, she said natural was much easier, and much easier to bounce back from.
Hear you on the hand me downs, our first four being girls, 5,7,11,16, many hand me downs. It's awesome sometimes when one puts on something cute, and you can remember the others when they wore it, kinda like a trip down memory lane Lol!
With the boy we are lucky, wife's sister is a neat freak, her boys clothes were like brand new and all expensive name brand stuff, she only had one. The amount of $ of Harley Davidson jackets, coats and sweatshirts our boy got from them, we could have paid for new clothes for all our kids Lol!
Good luck henn!

Yeah... The more kids I had... And the older I have got (and the older I get the less money I have)..

Well anyway, the first few had nice looking clothes, new or at least new looking.

Now... I am just happy if they stay up over the private area.

My kids now wear clothes that are way too small, way too big, way too short or way too long. Their clothes are mostly torn and stained with busted elastic and all kinds of OLD.

I did shell out for belts... Each one has a belt to hold up their pants.

I'm ok. getting slightly better. my mri shows almost every ligament is torn completely and a couple partially with 2 or 3 ligaments being normal. 5 or 6 torn. they are sending me to a orthopedic specialist for treatment options.

apiary, omg, you're hilarious!

@Alaskan Yup, that's how I grew up, oldest but always a belt, mom bought the pants way to big 'so you can grow into them' save $, NOT! Boy clothes don't last long without patches Lol! No hand me downs that are worth much.

@minihorse927 Ouch! I think all that is worse then a broken bone, and have heard the same.

Sam, when they're small they don't care what they wear, so just make a tomboy out of her if it's a she. Once she get's to the age that she want's girl clothes, I reckon the clothes that would fit are worn to a state of not being able to be repaired, at least I'm guessing your male offspring would be pretty active outside.

Yeah my oldest boys cloths are hardly fit for his brother already lol
I got lots of friends with girls that I'll probably get hand me downs from... Boy or girl it will be crazy...

Ouch mini

That sounds awful.

As a kid I loved my jeans, but I wore more through then I outgrew... the knees where the first place that needed patches.

Mini, that sucks about the tendons, will they do surgery on you?

As for me: 109 days until moving day.

I did my coop evening chores last night, collected eggs, etc. Last task, close the pop door into the run and the door just fell right off as i lifted it. Stupid thing. So I put my egg basket down, cell phone in my pocket (or so I thought) which i use as my flashlight. As I bend down the cell phone falls into the egg basket. Broke 2 turkey eggs. Thankfully they have that same thick shell and membrane as duck eggs so my cell phone was saved from egg yolk and egg white.

Still 2 less eggs going into the fridge but the dog thinks it's his lucky day as he gets broken eggs.
The door still insn't fixed, I could only lean it against the whole in the wall. darn things...

Don't they have decent thrift shops, yard sales with kid clothes, consignment shops, and Goodwill in your area. I used to get most of my girls' play clothes, and even some nice clothes for them that way. There are still 2 consignment shops here that every once in awhile I get clothes for me. I found out I couldn't just go get whatever I wanted that way, but I cold go weekly, to every 10 days, and get a few things each time. It didn't take long to get them a decent wardrobe that way.
